To provide a wide range of high-level support and advice to the president
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Research and assess situations, projects and developments in the U.S. and overseas involving potential or actual animal rights issues, and offer strategical and data-informed advice.
• Assign tasks to other departments and supervise their progress, alert president to important developments
• Conduct research and craft and draft correspondence and briefings on a wide range of animal rights topics and inquiries
• Assist with investigations, events, meetings, and presentations, as required.
• Interact professionally and diplomatically with PETA donors, celebrities, and others who contact the Office of the President
• Assist various departments, such as PETA’s community animal project on occasion and in emergencies
• Professionally advocate PETA's positions on issues
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the president
