Position Objective:
Maximize the reach of PETA’s work with athletes by using innovative strategies with a goal of reaching worldwide fans
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Seek out and develop professional relationships with athletes, agents, teams, and publicists on an ongoing basis in order to set up cross-promotional partnerships for PETA
Lead athlete campaigns from ideation through execution and to launch
Coordinate campaign design and messaging with the appropriate departments
Work across all PETA departments and with its affiliates – particularly with media and social media teams – to maximize exposure and success
Stay up-to-date with all sports-related news, events, important dates and strategize fresh, interesting content opportunities
Liaise with PETA’s Affiliates and assist in coordinating sports outreach, campaigns, and efforts in other countries
