Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary is seeking a skilled Documentarian to help us create an open online resource for others around the world who are currently running or are considering establishing their own farmed animal sanctuary. This is a full-time position located in Erie, Colorado.

About the Documentarian Position
Since our inception and as we continue to grow as a sanctuary, we have collected a depth of information and experiences about what it takes to start a sanctuary from the ground up. Everything that we build, the processes we develop, and the resources we depend upon should be made easily accessible for other sanctuaries to learn from, helping us to magnifying the positive impact we can have for farmed animals everywhere.

Our staff Documentarian will capture these topics in photos, video and, most importantly, in an organized and easy to read written format. These articles and supplemental visual documents will be published regularly on OpenSanctuary.org, and made available to the world. Topics will vary greatly, from building and property maintenance and animal care tasks, to creating volunteer policies and establishing successful outreach programming, and everything in-between.

The OpenSanctuary project has the power to change so many animal lives for the better, well beyond the means of any one sanctuary alone, and will help take the work of farmed animal sanctuaries to the next level. This position is the perfect fit for someone who not only has the journalistic skills to find and share this important information, but who has the passion and drive to inspire real change for farmed animals. The right candidate will be invested in sanctuary work, and excited to have a hand in organizing and developing the structure by which this important information is shared.
