Job Description

The Vegan Warrior Academy is seeking an outgoing, creative, and savvy social media coordinator who has an interest for personal development/self-growth. As a Social Media Coordinator and Brand Ambassador, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies. The position is freelance, ongoing and working remotely about 10 to 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Create engaging text, image and video content
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around the academy
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions, etc.
  • Create new Instagram page for The Vegan Warrior Academy

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience developing/implementing social media plans
  • Creative and design ability in creating social graphics
  • Strong writing skills and understanding of best practices for writing for the web and social media
  • A passion and knowledge for personal development and spirituality
  • Ability to generate clever or appealing social media posts based on website content in an effort to drive more social media traffic to the website

Compensation

Employee will work as an independent freelancer on a commission-based pay structure.
