Animal Law Reform South Africa is the first and only dedicated animal law organisation in South Africa and is well-recognised in the international animal law community as the leader in the country in this area.
We utilise three core focus areas (i) Legislative & Policy Reform; (ii) Litigation and Legal Services; and (iii) Education & Research to advance our goal. Our goal is a South African society whose people, laws and courts advance and uphold the protection and well-being of human and non-human animals.
Our work is premised on three interrelated pillars: A) the flourishing of nonhuman animals; B) the rule of law; C) and the attainment of a socially just society for all its inhabitants.
