About this Career Opportunity This is a great opportunity for an individual wishing to gain entry-level fundraising experience. The Development Assistant will have a hand in membership communications and handle various administrative functions for the development department. The position will expose you to a wide range of Physicians Committee campaigns, issues, and programs. It also has growth potential to include managing fundraising campaigns. Specific duties include: • Helping prepare e-mail messages to supporters • Maintaining state charitable registration files • Running reports • Coordinating our petition program • Processing invoices This position will also serve as backup to our Membership Assistant in fielding inquiries from both members and nonmembers primarily by phone and e-mail and performing data entry.
