Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a motivated, highly-organised, self-starter to make a significant contribution, as part of the Communications, Public Policy and Research (CPPR) team, to the development of a growing charity. The role will support The Vegan Society in achieving its vision through funding for innovative campaigns.

You will also work closely with colleagues in the CPPR department to raise awareness of The Vegan Society’s charity work.

The successful candidate will likely have at least two years’ experience in fundraising with a strong foundation and trusts grant track record, along with either experience of, or a keen interest in, Statutory grants to enable The Vegan Society to achieve its targets. Among your key strengths will be excellent communication, presentation, research and networking skills and the ability to generate creative and well-argued grant applications.

The Vegan Society, the world’s first, is an educational charity that promotes and supports the vegan lifestyle – formed in 1944, by a group of vegetarians who recognised the ethical compromises of eating eggs and dairy products. We are the first point of contact for people thinking about going vegan, new vegans and those seeking information, including caterers, print and broadcast media, health professionals, teachers and government.
