Overview

Position Objective:

To assist with PETA’s e-commerce, merchandise marketing, and customer-service efforts 

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• In consultation with PETA and in verified compliance with the objectives, standards, and requirements communicated by it:

o Manage all image, copy, and pricing content on PETACatalog.com, Amazon, and other e-commerce channels

o Maintain the merchandise marketing calendars

o Collaborate with PETA’s Marketing Department to create engaging e-news and social media promotions and analyze results

o Coordinate product and lifestyle photo shoots

o Assist with inventory maintenance and sales reporting and analysis

o Communicate with third-party customer-service center for new product and promo code setup and coordinate special projects

o Research additional relevant e-commerce channels on which to offer PETA’s merchandise

• Communicate with third-party customer-service center to coordinate special projects and set up new products and promo codes

• Perform administrative duties and run errands for the department

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of three years of e-commerce experience

• Demonstrated excellent working knowledge of the Internet, MS Word, Excel, and Google Analytics

• Proven superior customer-service skills

• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills

• Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure with minimal supervision

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid U.S. driver’s license, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Support for PETA’s philosophy and the ability to advocate PETA’s positions on issues professionally

• Commitment to the objectives of the organization
